Staff Spotlight, Jarrett Suhr
JCCHD | Tue, July 23, 2013 | [Staff Spotlight]Jarrett Suhr has been working at The Johnson Center in the nutrition clinic since August of 2009. Born in The Woodlands, Texas, he moved to Austin with his family in 1998. Diagnosed with ASD when he was a child, Jarrett enjoys working at The Johnson Center because he gets to be a part of an organization that helps so many others on the autism spectrum.
The staff at The Johnson Center value Jarrett’s kind nature, humor, and optimism. As assistant to our Nutrition Clinic Manager, Jarrett is in charge of shipments and stocking inventory for the nutrition clinic. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Jarrett makes sure to keep the toys and play area organized and clean for when patients visit the office, and he often assists the front desk manager with administrative tasks.
Jarrett enjoys working and interacting with his coworkers and finds his job to be very gratifying. In the future, Jarrett would like to work more, and possibly volunteer at the library or a local animal shelter.
In his spare time, Jarrett enjoys spending time with his family and with his dog, Ginger. He is a huge fan of movies; his favorite genres are Sci-Fi, fantasy, and action. His favorite movie of all time is The Little Shop of Horrors, and some of his favorite restaurants in town are Chuy’s, The Grove, Lupe Tortilla, and Magnolia Café.
